On the murder-1

The incident that took the life of the Governor of Punjab provokes everyone to rethink their priorities about their lives and religion.

The cold blooded murderer termed it an attempt to protect the honour of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), which the governor had tried to dishonour by terming the Blasphemy Law as a Black Law. We, being a nation, are so sensitive about our viewpoints on religion that we usually regard such murderers as heroes. It has happened in the past and will definitely happen again.

The Holy Prophet (PBUH) while entering Makkah (after the conquest) announced clemency for everyone and forgot about what happened in the past. Even the people of Taif were forgiven, even though Gabriel had asked the Prophet (PBUH) to crush them if he so desired. His life is an example for everyone. He did all these things to set examples so that we should follow his footsteps. This is the path that we need to follow and not the teachings of semi-educated mullahs, who have so far not condemned the murder.
