The trend of humiliating the police and other law enforcement officials by high-ups in the government or others by influential people has become a norm in our country.
As a result, the police sometimes repeat the same with ordinary people. All of this can be attributed to the prevailing feudal culture that has existed for centuries in this region and was purposely strengthened in the British Raj. Our politics is also dominated by feudal lords who use the police force for their own purposes and disregard them when not needed. This dangerous trend has proven to be more harmful for the ordinary people. It seems that everyone is caught in this vicious cycle. However, its never too late to start over again. The civil society and all the responsible citizens of this country must initiate a healthy relationship with the police based on mutual cooperation. This can help us rebuild our society that is going in a totally wrong direction.
