Roadside planted bomb injures 4 police officers in Peshawar

At least four police officers got injured in a remote control bomb blast targeting a police van in Peshawar Monday (today).

According to a private TV channel police sources told that unknown miscreants targeted a police van in the Shakarpura area of Peshawar, by planting a roadside remote control bomb.

This roadside planted bomb exploded while the Police van was crossing the road.

A heavy contingent of police reached the spot and cordoned off the area and also launched a search operation to arrest the culprits.

The wounded police officials were identified as Mukhtar, Abdur Rahim, Muhammad Tariq and Khushal.

Police sources told that injured were immediately shifted to the Peshawar Lady Reading hospital .
