Intelligence agencies have busted an alleged Afghan refugee serving as a doctor in Allied Hospital while investigations are underway to identify other impostors appointed at government posts.
Reportedly, refugees hailing from Afghanistan acquired fake identity cards from different centres in Dera Ismail Khan, and also got family numbers from National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).
According to the report, the doctor studied at Punjab Medical College and landed a job in Allied Hospital using fake identity details. He married a lady doctor of Afghan descent.
Faisalabad Capital Police officer has been directed by high-ups to launch an enquiry in the issue.
