Rs 400 mln allocated for 16 colleges in Faisalabad division

Punjab government has allocated Rs 400 million for the construction and development of 16 colleges in Faisalabad division during the fiscal year 2016-17.

A spokesman of the government told on Sunday that these funds would be expended on the completion of under construction buildings of 16 new colleges.

He said that out of this amount, Rs 30 million will be spent on the construction of the building of Home Economic College Faisalabad, whereas Rs 22.871 million will be spent on each of the remaining 15 colleges.

Among these colleges include Government Girls College Sitiana Bungalow, Government Girls College Meeranwala Bungalow, Girls College Chak No.46-GB Sammundri, Girls College Arkana Bungalow, Government Boys College Pensara, Girls College Pir Punjah Lalian, Girls College Waryam Wala Jhang, Girls College Shorkot Cantt., Girls College Satellite Town Jhang, Girls College Ahmad Pur Sial, Girls College Khewa, Girls College Ratta Matta Jhang, Boys College Lalian and Boys College Amin Pur, he added.
