Govt determined to fulfill its promises: CM Buzdar

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Thursday said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government would fulfil its promises and was working hard to provide necessary relief to the people within the first 100 days.

Speaking to lawmakers as well as office bearers of the PTI from different districts, he said the times of hollow sloganeering were gone and people would witness the incumbent government’s practical steps for their welfare.

He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had set examples of simplicity and austerity in the government and reiterated that Punjab would come up to the expectations of the premier.

“I belong to a deprived area of Punjab and have full understanding of the everyday problems of the masses,” he said, adding that he felt the sufferings of the people.

The chief minister said that a comprehensive roadmap had been chalked out by the government for the solution of problems of the general public and asked the assembly members to keep a continuous liaison with the people to make every possible effort to solve their problems.

Among those who called on the chief minister were Yasir Humayun Sarfraz, Muhammad Tariq Tarrar, Fida Hussain Watto, Saeed Ahmad Saeedi, PTI leader Firdous Ashiq Awan and others.
