DASKA – Besides presenting an ugly look, unmanaged electricity wires in streets and markets of the Daska city are creating problems for the citizens, posing threats of short-circuit and eruption of fire in major city markets, including Main Bazaar, Subedar Bazaar and the main streets of College Road.
Many schools of children are also facing a very serious problem of lack of management of wires. In some markets unattended and even bare wires are found scattered on the ground and passageways, posing life threats to the schoolchildren and the citizens.
The authorities concerned must take a serious notice of this crucial issue, a trader. A school headmaster said his school is situated in Street No 4, College Road, where dangerous and unmanaged electricity wires can cause a serious incident. He urged the senior officers to take immediate notice for the matter.
