Five of a family which included a woman and children died when their roof collapsed due to heavy rain on Monday.
Political administration sources said that roof was of a dilapidated mud-stone made house which suddenly came down in Aka Khel area of tehsil Bara in Khyber Agency.
Members present in the house were buried under the rubble and died before they could be rescued. The tribesmen later on self-help basis retrieved the bodies from the debris.
Three day torrential rains have claimed more than 15 lives in Khyber Agency and other tribal areas.
