The police and security forces arrested 60 suspects including Afghan nationals and recovered arms during search operations on Friday.
The police along with security forces launched operation against outlaws in Paharipura, Shaheed Town and Gharibabad localities of the provincial capital Peshawar, during which the law enforcers checked 670 houses.
Eight Afghan nationals were apprehended with three pistols and hundreds of rounds.
The nabbed suspects were being interrogated at University Town and Paharipura police stations.
