A bridegroom has allegedly been abducted from a local market in the Vehari area.
The bridegroom, identified as Amir, a resident of Shah Rukun Alam, went to the Vehari market on a motorcycle soon after he returned home with his bride, the family told the police.
He, however, did not return and his cell phone was going off and the family suspected that he may have been kidnapped. The police have registered a case and started investigations.
