Family protests man’s death in police custody

The family of a man, who had allegedly died in police custody due to torture, on Monday held a protest demonstration here.

The protestors alleged that 40-year-old person was detained by a team of Baksh Khan police station on Sunday evening and was tortured by policemen which caused his death.

The heirs urged the Punjab Chief Minister and Inspector General of Police to take notice of the incident and order action against the accused policemen.
