SHC seeks comments on two missing Baloch youths


KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) directed the deputy attorney general and Sindh advocate general to file comments supported with affidavits of Interior and Defence secretaries, the Sindh home secretary, the IGP and other police officials about the whereabouts of two Baloch youths, who were allegedly whisked away by intelligence agencies in Karachi.
A division bench comprising Justice Gulzar Ahmed and Justice Imam Bux Baloch was hearing a petition filed by Ms Ghahari on the whereabouts of her son and nephew. She submitted that the two youths reside in the Metroville area in SITE.
She stated that on November 7, law enforcement agencies personnel in civvies raided her house without any warrant and took away her son Faiz Muhammad alias Shahid and her nephew Khan Muhammad.
She said both men were not involved in political or anti-social activity. The bench adjourned the case till December 31.
