Robbers loot stationery shop

Robbers have struck at a shop in the Satellite Town area within New Town police jurisdiction and looted cash and valuables.

Abrar Hussain, an owner stationery shop, lodged a complaint with the local police that three armed men entered his shop held his workers hostage at gunpoint and loted Rs70,000, six cell phones and other valuables worth over Rs1.5 million.

Meanwhile, Faisal Mussadiq, a resident of Westridge, lodged a complaint with the local police that at night auto-thieves have stolen his motorcycle (SL-705) from his house.

The police have registered cases and started investigations.

Man injured by robbers:

A man was injured by robbers within the Lohibhair police jurisdiction.

Ahmed, a resident of Lohibhair, lodged a complaint with the local police that four armed robbers made their way into his house, held the family members hostage at gunpoint.

According to complainant, during the robbery his brother Ahsan Satti resisted the robbers, prompting one of them to open fire on him with a pistol, which left him injured.

The injured was rushed to the PIMS for medical aid. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
