Suspected militants opened fire at a Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) vehicle carrying officials on Tuesday, injuring at least five personnel in Balochistan’s Turbat area, while a labourer was killed in a separate firing incident at an FWO camp in the same district, officials said.
Levies sources said the FWO personnel were going from Hoshap to Panjgoor area when their vehicle was attacked.
The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, while the assailants escaped unhurt from the spot.
In another incident, a labourer was killed when militants opened fire at an FWO Camp in Hoshap area of Turbat.
Levies and Frontier Corps officials reached the spot as investigation into the incident went underway.
