A man was killed and another injured on a road within the Saddar police jurisdiction.
Tasawar Khan, a resident of Saddar, lodged a complaint with the local police that his son Zulqarnain, 35, and his daughter Malika, 26, were passing through a local market on a motorcycle when a speeding Suzuki van (RIS 1239) hit their bike from behind.
As a result, Zulqarnain was killed on the spot while Malika was injured seriously. The Suzuki van driver fled the scene.
The deceased and injured where shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital for medico-legal formalities. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
