In a bid to attract voters for NA-154 by-election, supporters of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Siddique Baloch brought female dancers before expiry of electioneering deadline in Lodhran on Monday night.
The ‘dance party’ took place as Baloch left the event after addressing the rally.
The event continued for more than three hours and Baloch’s supporters showered currency notes on the dancers.
However, no action was taken by the local administration and police.
Polling for by-elections in NA-154 constituency of Lodhran-1 will be held on Wednesday. Voting process will start at 8:00 in the morning and continue till 5:00 in the evening without any interval.
Siddique Baloch of PML-N and Jahangir Tareen of PTI are among 20 contesting candidates.
