According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 82% Pakistanis believe that Operation Zarb-e-Azab is showing positive results; 50% believe that it is showing very positive results and 32% believe it is showing somewhat positive results.
A nationally representative sample of working men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “To what extent do you think that Operation Zarb-e-Azab carried out by Pakistan Army is showing positive or negative results?” In response to this question, 50% said that it is showing ‘very’ positive results, 32% said that it is showing ‘somewhat positive results’, 10% said that it is showing ‘somewhat negative results’ and 7% said that it is showing ‘very negative results’. 1% did not respond.
