Security of seven key railway stations across the country has been enhanced in the wake of possible terror attacks.

The sources said that the railway stations where security has been fortified included Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Wahga and Rohri. After approval of budget, 10 feet high and 1.5 feet wide boundary walls would be erected around these railway stations while construction of boundary walls at Lahore and Wahga railway stations has been started.
