Anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Wednesday sentenced two persons to 14 years imprisonment each after they were convicted in a case regarding possession of explosives.
Two culprits, Shah Hussain and Aziz Jamal have been given prison time.
Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) had arrested them in April this year. The culprits were alleged of possessing explosives for suspected terror attacks.
The counter-terrorism personnel had also seized weapons and ammunition from their possession after arrests were made. The department had launched a case in the ATC under Terrorism Act 1997.
The culprits were shifted to Peshawar Central Jail after sentence.
