Civil society stages candlelit vigil for Paris tragedy

Members of various civil society organisations on Monday staged a candlelit vigil in front of Lahore Press Club to condemn the terrorist attacks on Paris, France.
A large number of activists including men, women and children from Tanzeem Khidmat e Shehriyan Lahore, Bright Future Society, Voice of Christian and Falahi Idara Tahafuz e Khawateen attended the vigil.
The participants also chanted slogans against the terrorism.
Addressing on this occasion, speakers said that Islam is a religion of peace which does not allow killing of any innocent person regardless of his religion and caste. They expressed a complete solidarity with the victims of terrorist attacks.
