Supporters of the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf were heavily injured in Mianwalli on Sunday when a roof caved in during Imran Khan’s address.
The supporters had reportedly gathered on a rooftop to hear the PTI chief’s speech when the roof they were standing on caved in and sent them plummetting to the ground. Media reports have stated that at least four people were injured, and that PTI supporters nearby gathered to help clear the site and rescue those injured.
The wounded have since been shifted to District headquarters Hospital Mianwali.
