Seven killed in city in various incidents

At least seven people were killed and six others injured in separate incidents of firing, road accidents and suicide in the metropolis Sunday.

Two persons died in a road accident. Bilal, 14, and Riyaz, 21, died when an unidentified heavy vehicle rammed into his motorcycle near the Johor More. They died on the spot and their bodies were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) Hospital.

A woman Sameena, 22, after dispute with her husband committed suicide. She was a resident of Machar Colony area of Karachi. Dead body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi.

An 8-year-old child, Ibrahim, was killed in a wall collapse incident also in Machar Colony. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi.

Unknown speeding vehicle killed a woman Najma, 45, while she was crossing the road at Paracha Chowk near Dhershah area of Karachi. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi. The deceased was a resident of Naziamabad. An unidentified child’s body was recovered near Abbasi Shaheed Hospital and shifted to the hospital.

In a gunshot incident, an unknown person was killed and a man Khan Zamin, 45, injured in Gulshan-e-Maymar. Both were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

In another firing incident, SHO Ghulam Hussain, 50, and a citizen Altaf Hussain were injured at Northern Bypass. They were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. They were residents of Manghopir.

A young man, Owais, 22, was injured when a speeding-vehicle hit him at Duty Free shop near Shahrah-e-Faisal. He was shifted to JPMC Hospital. He was a resident of Shah Faisal Colony. Another man, Zeeshan, 21, was injured in separate car accident at Shahdman Town and shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. He was resident of Orangi Town.
