The paramilitary force on Wednesday killed at least 11 more suspected extremists in three separate encounters in different areas of the city.
According to spokesman of Rangers, the action was launched on intelligence regarding presence of terrorists on Super Highway near Kathore. The outlaws opened gunfire as soon as they spotted the personnel of the security force approaching them. In retaliatory fire, six criminals were killed on the spot. According to Rangers, two troopers also sustained injuries in the action. Meantime, four militants were gunned down in area of Manghopir. The paratroopers recovered suicide vest and firearms from the possession of the criminals. Separately, police rescued an abducted man after gunning down the kidnapper in Pak Colony whereas two target killers were also apprehended during search operation in Awami Colony.
