The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday, while hearing a strange case of pet cat murder, ordered the police to register a case against a veterinary doctor for killing the cat by giving her a wrongly injection.
The LHC heard a petition of a woman seeking registration of case against veterinary doctor named Awais, who prescribed the wrong injection for her ailing cat resulting in death of the pet animal.
The owner of the cat in her plea to the court said that despite the sessions court order, the police failed to register an FIR against the accused vet doctor.
Justice James Joseph of LHC directed the police station concerned to register an FIR against the veterinary doctor and submit the compliance report to the court by June 17
