A son of former Punjab governor Ghulam Mustafa Khar was arrested late Tuesday night for his alleged involvement in a robbery in Lahore.
Accused Hussain Khar went missing last night and was assumed kidnapped. However, the Lahore police has now confirmed that he is in the custody of the Crimes Investigation Agency (CIA).
“The accused was arrested by police,” said DIG Operations Haider Ashraf.
Hussain was arrested from near his house in Askari-V and is under police investigation.
The former governor’s son is accused of robbing a house in the city and a case was filed against him in Defence Police Station.
