Stage play “Ghar to Akhar Apna Hai” written by Nisar Razmi and directed by Tahir Siddiqui was put up at the PNCA Auditorium in connection with the Pakistan Day Celebrations to high light the present day scenario of our social order and behaviour of the society.
The play was presented by Pakistan National Council of the Arts with the aim to educate the masses about the social evils that are damaging the country’s image knowingly or unknowingly for the accumulation of wealth. Renowned names from the film, TV and theatre industry of the twin cities played their characters to perfection to an amused audience within the jam-packed auditorium.
The play started with the main showing host paying tribute to Dharti Maa with national song in the background, such as, “Moj barhay aandi ayay” followed by a saying from Quaid-e-Azam, i.e. “To keep Pakistan intact we have to offer more sacrifices”.
The play reflected the role of all the stakeholders as investors who have invested their capital in Pakistan and are now taking back their money with interest through illegal means.
These groups have weakened the economy of the country but honest people are there who love Pakistan and sacrifice for their country. They are the future of this country.
The message delivered in a very light mood through comic gestures and dialogues by the stage masters Batin Farooqi, Iffat Choudhry, Ghias Mastana, Tahir Siddiqui, Lubna Shahzadi, Imtiaz Ali Kashif, Arshad Minhas, Aslam Mughal, Afzal Latifi, Nasir William, Saeed Anwar and Layiba Khan. The audience fully anticipated with the artist and clapped on every gesture and scene.
