The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday announced that Senate seat elections will be held on March 3, 2015.
According to ECP, candidates can submit their nomination papers on February 12 and 13, whereas the scrutiny of the papers will be held on February 16 and 17.
The candidates can withdraw their nominations till February 25, 2015. The ballot papers have been printed.
The electoral process for the federal capital and FATA will take place in the National Assembly whereas the vacant seats in the Senate in terms of the provinces will be filled through voting at respective provincial assemblies.
