Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Deputy Secretary General Dr Farid Ahmed Piracha Thursday has demanded of the government to impose ban on New Year Night’s celebrations and said that such gatherings after the Peshawar terror attack would be the height of callousness.
Piracha appreciated the Sindh government’s ban in this regard, and urged other provinces to follow suit.
The JI central leader said that even otherwise, music and dance parties were in violation of the country’s constitution.
