As reported in the newspapers the inflation rate has ceased its upward trend and is at its lowest rate of 7% as compared to such period of previous year. In the period of 14 months of this Government there came some healthy macroeconomic symbolic and real gestures to which economists analyze with appreciative eye. Lowering inflation rate is one of the definite economic indicators that reflect that economic policy is rightly working to provide goods and services to masses with maximum possible ease and facility. It is hoped that the Government will soon be able to overcome the ongoing political turmoil so that the long term journey of economic progress and prosperity may not be hindered by such damaging images of the situation in the country.
