Police round up 17 outlaws including three drug paddlers

Rawalpindi Police have arrested 17 outlaws including three drug paddlers and four for immoral activities and seized over 43 kilogramme of charras, 10 kg opium, 34 liter wine, 11 bottles of liquor, one pistol 30 bore with two rounds and 500 liter diesel from the possession of the accused.

According to Rawalpindi police spokesman, Pirwadhai police netted Faheem for having 500 grams charras while Mustafa was nabbed for possessing 510 grams charras. Waris Khan police held Dilawar and recovered 1030 grams charras. Bunni police arrested Sheraz Sultan for carrying 515 grams charras. Rattaamral police booked Khan Muhammad and seized four litre wine. New Town police recovered 30 liter wine from Shafique Ullah. Gujar Khan police apprehended Anwar Masih with 11 bottles of liquor.

Meanwhile, Sadiqabad police conducted a raid at an illegal petrol agency and netted Naqeeb Zada and Wahid Zaman with 500 litre diesel. Other accused were sent behind the bars for having illegal weapons and drugs.

The spokesman further informed that Naseerabad police stopped a Corolla car bearing registration number V-8513 and recovered 36 kilograms charras and 10 kg opium. Siraj Ahmed who was driving the car was arrested. He told that Sadiqabad police acting on a tip-off raided in Al-Noor Colony at a brothel house being run by Tahira Parveen and rounded up four accused namely Shafiq, Tahira Bibi, Tahira Parveen and Iqra as they were allegedly involved in immoral activities.

On the special directive of Rawalpindi City Police Officer (CPO) Hamyoun Bashir Tarar, an operation was also launched in Kalar Syedan area under the supervision of Superintendent Police (SP) Saddar Division. A drug paddler namely Sharjeel Ahmed was held and police recovered over 5 kg grams charras.

On the information of Sharjeel Ahmed, an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) namely Zaheer Nawaz of Kalar Syedan police station who was allegedly involved in drug business was also netted.
