*LHC says no one can be allowed to mudsling against the judges

Lahore High Court (LHC) has suspended license of advocate Pervez I Mir for committing contempt of court.

A 3-member bench of the LHC headed by Justice Manzoor Ahmad Malik took up the case for hearing on Monday.

Pervez I Mir while tendering unqualified apology to the court said he had indicated at hard attitude of the judge and he was served contempt of court notice.

The court remarked that no one can be allowed to indulge in any mudslinging against the judges. “Judiciary will take care of its dignity at every cost. Any derogatory language against the judges will not be tolerated,” the judge said.

The court while suspending the license of Pervez I Mir advocate referred the matter to Pakistan Bar Council for further action.

Pervez I Mir advocate had misbehaved with Justice Aisha A Malik and the court had issued contempt of court notice to him upon it.
