The government has taken control of computers laboratories of all government colleges in Rawalpindi from private sector.
The private sector control over all the computers laboratories of government boys and girls colleges of district Rawalpindi has been abolished.
As per new decision government will run these laboratories on its own. New computer teachers will be appointed and new computers will be installed. The fee will be charged far lower as per government policy or it will be remitted.
Earlier, the computers laboratories were handed over to private sector which ran them with their own staff. The private sector was charging heavy fee but was yielding no positive result.
