An Army Aviation helicopter crashed at the Multan airport late on Wednesday night, resulting in the instant deaths of Major Yasir and Captain Murtaza, the Inter-Services Public Relations said in a brief statement.
The ISPR statement said that the two officers were on a routine training flight when their chopper crashed on the airport’s runway. A probe has been ordered but sources said the chopper crashed after developing a technical fault mid-air.
