Federal Minister for Information Pervaiz Rashid has said that no direction has been issued to arrest workers of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) workers.

The minister said that Qadri wanted chaos in the country while the government had devised a security plan keeping in view the overall situation of the country and security arrangements had been being made to counter possible terrorist threats.

He said that Qadri wanted to create unrest in the country, adding that Qadri could not survive in a democratic rule so he wanted to weaken democracy.

The minister said that Qadri was part and parcel of the regime which had conducted the most rigged elections and referendum of 2002.
