Speakers at a seminar Thursday paid tribute to Sir Syed Ahmed Khan for the services rendered for the uplift of Muslims of the sub-continent.
They said the visionary Sir Syed created awareness among the Muslims about importance of education and highlighted its significance for achieving success in life.
Declaring Sir Syed a “role model” for the younger generation, they said the great Muslim thinker’s educational and literary services played a key role in the creation of Pakistan.
The seminar titled “Sir Syed Ahmed Khan – A great thinker” was organised by Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) and attended among others by Vice President Sir Syed Memorial Society, Senator Razina Alam Khan, Chairman Jinnah Iqbal Fikri, Principal Government Post Graduate College Asghar Mall and RAC Resident Director Waqar Ahmed spoke on the occasion and highlighted various aspects of life of Sir Syed Ahmed Khan.
