ISLAMABAD – Dr. Fehmida Mirza, Speaker National Assembly has strongly condemned the desecration of Holy Quran.
In a statement, the Speaker expressed her anguish and resentment over the burning of the Holy Quran. She said this incident is worst kind of religious prejudice and conspiracy to start clash of civilizations and destruction of world peace.
The Speaker said this act has greatly hurt the feelings of Muslims around the globe. Therefore, strict action should be taken against the responsible of this heinous crime.
She called upon the international community and United Nation to take immediate notice of it.
