CCTVs to be installed in district courts

District administration Rawalpindi has decided to install 20 new CCTV cameras to ensure security of district courts and anti terrorism courts.

Decision was taken in a meeting held under Rawalpindi DCO Sajid Zafar. Meeting was attended by SAO Aqeel Ahmad Khan, SP Operation, District Bar president Raja Nasir and others.

It was decided in the meeting that 16 CCTV cameras which are already set up in the district courts have gone outdated and will be of no use even if are repaired. Therefore, 20 new cameras will be installed. This decision was taken in the light of survey conducted by special branch.
