Insaf Students Federation activists staged a rally on Monday in protest of alleged harassment of students by teachers of University of Peshawar (UoP).
Several female students of UoP had complained of alleged sexual harassment by a lecturer and other senior professors.
The matter was also raised in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly in 2011 by then MPA Nighat Orakzai but the accused faced no action despite the highlighting of the issue as the senior staff members were politically influential, alleged the protesting students.
