Pakistan Sunni Tehreek (PST) Ulema Board has said that Shariah did not allow pardon to any murderer and demanded the government not to hold talks with terrorists without taking them to a court of justice.

In its recommendations, PST chief Mohammad Sarwat Ijaz Qadri said the justification to pardon the killers of innocent people was against Shariah.

The ulema said Islam did not allow murder of innocent people.

The recommendations said according to Surrah Al Maida, those taking up arms against a Muslim state must be crushed with force.

The ulema and clerics opposed talks with those working against Islam and constitution of Pakistan and called for full implementation of the law under the constitution.

They referred to the assassination of religious leaders and attacks on the shrines of saints and places of worships in the past and questioned whether the government and the parties supporting the dialogue could guarantee there would be no more attacks on the basis of sect.

The clerics said the Taliban also refused to accept the constitution of Pakistan and its geographic boundaries.

They said in this scenario, there was no justification for talks with them and the government and the armed forces should take all the necessary steps for the security of the country and its people. .
