Terror bid foiled, three suspects held with explosives


QUETTA: The Frontier Corps (FC) foiled major terror bids, recovered cache of arms, ammunition, and explosives during separate actions in different districts of Balochistan on Monday.

The FC sources said that on intelligence tip-offs, the paramilitary troops conducted search operations at Eastern Bypass Quetta, Sunny Shawaran Bolan, and Dera Murad Jamali.

During separate actions, three suspects were apprehended with 26 kilogram white explosives, eight kilogram black explosives, 03 RPGs, 7 rockets, 03 hand grenades, one anti-tank mine, 13 detonators, accessories and material used in the manufacturing of IEDs.

The security forces confiscated the recovered arms, ammunition and explosives and the detainees were being interrogated.
