Terrorist commander among two killed in Rangers action

Sindh Rangers (paramilitary force) claimed to have killed two terrorists associated with a banned terror outfit in a locality of Karachi on Wednesday.

Rangers spokesman said the action was taken on a tip-off about the terrorists presence in Manghopir area which prompted the Rangers personnel to conduct an operation.

The raid was made on a house located in the hub of criminals.

In the shootout with Rangers, officials said, two of the terrorists were killed.

They were identified as members of a banned terror outfit and one of them was local commander of the group.

Rangers claimed that the terrorists had planned to target military and government installations in the city.
