Police and Rangers have arrested 17 accused involved in target killings and money extortion during raids in different parts of Karachi.
The East Zone police has captured an accused namely Asif alias Golden from Larkana on Sunday for being involved in target killing in Karachi.
Police captured Salman Jaffery from Gulistan-e-Johar, Azahar alias Lamba from Jamshed Quarters, and Farhan alias DSP from Shah Faisal Colony. All these target killers belong to political parties and are involved in gang wars as well.
During raids in Ferozeabad, Dalmia, and PIB Colony, police captured five money extortionists including Gul Nabi Afghani and Nadim Shah.
Shah Latif Police and Sohrab Goth police arrested four drug peddlers and seized nine kilograms of high quality heroine worth million of rupees during two separate raids.
Rangers also arrested four accused of money extortion during a raid in Marvi Goth area near Green City. The arrested belong to a political party, told rangers’ spokesman.
