Police arrest nine lawbreakers

The capital police on Tuesday arrested nine lawbreakers from various areas of the city and recovered two cars, bike, weapons, narcotics and stolen goods from their possession, a police spokesman said.
According to details, SSP Muhammad Rizwan directed all police officials for effective crackdown against criminals, bootleggers and drug pushers in the city ensuring their arrest. Following his directions for efficient policing, ASI Muhammad Farooq from Secretariat police station arrested a thief Haq Nwaz and recovered stolen property amounting to Rs1 50,000 from him. ASI Ishtaiq Hussain from Bhara Kahu police station arrested accused Muhammad Wasaal and recovered stolen car (LOV-973) from him.
Sub-Inspector Shafqat Ali from ACLC police recovered a tampered car from accuses Muhammad Younas. Meanwhile ASI Manzoor Eleahi arrested Niaz and recovered one 30 bore pistol from him. ASI Muhammad Ali from Golra police station arrested Zahid Ishaq and recovered one 30 bore pistol from him. While Sub-Inspector Aashiq Muhammad from Tarnol police station arrested Jehangir for having 30 gram heroin.
Sub-Inspector Muhammad Azam from CIA police arrested Taimur and recovered a stolen bike (ZR-743) from him. Sub-Inspector Muhammad Shafique from Sabzi Mandi police station arrested a drug pusher Johar and recovered 130 gram hashish from him. Sub-Inspector Muhammad Hanif from Sihala police station arrested two bootleggers Waseem and Adnan besides recovering five cans of beer from their possession.
Separate cases have been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway. SSP Islamabad Muhammad Rizwan has appreciated the overall performance of officials and said that Islamabad police is determined to ensure effective action criminal elements.
