Nazaria-e-Pakistan Council (NPC) arranged All Pakistan Jashn-e-Azadi Mushaira in connection with Independence Day celebrations.
A large number of poets from across the country participated in the Mushaira held at Nazaria-e-Pakistan Council Trust and recited patriotic poetry praising the country.
Renowned poet Iftikhar Arif while addressing the gathering said that the national flag is a sign of dignity, honour and prosperity for the whole nation. He said that it was the duty of every Pakistani to respect the national flag.
NPC Senior Vice-Chairman Mian Muhammad Javed said that national poets and intellectuals were assets of the country and that anti-state elements were making conspiracies against Pakistan to destabilise her.
