The government has started evolving a policy on missing persons’ cases all over the country.
A sub-committee of the special taskforce will work out recommendations and present them in a special meeting. Later, these will be sent to the Ministry of Law and Justice for legal and constitutional consultation.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will review the recommendations of the Ministry of Law. Later, it will be presented in the meeting of the federal cabinet for formulation of policy and final approval.
The government had formed a special task force which had set up a sub-committee to frame the policy during its first meeting and assigned this task to it.
