Operations Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Muhammad Tahir Rai said that Lahore police had finalised the security plan for 27 Ramadan and Eid.
Holidays for cops were cancelled till Eid-ul-Fitr and they would be accommodated on some other days after the event.
Rai further said that special reserves would perform their duties on 112 processions on Eid while several volunteers would also help them.
He said that more than 10,000 police officials would perform their duties and try to prevent acts of terrorism.
He said that the Lahore police had utilised all its energy to make fool proof security arrangements in the city.
He directed all divisional superintendents and police officials to follow the security plan as there was no space for slackness.
