Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is stuck between the devil and deep sea in Balochistan on cabinet making, as Sardar Sanaullah Zehri does not want to step back from his demand for the chief minister’s slot.
Media reports said the party leadership wanted to nominate Changez Khan Marri, while Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) and other nationalist parties were also desirous to see Changez Khan Marri as the CM.
According to party sources, Zehri was not ready to go out of the race for the chief minister’s slot, however, the PML-N, PkMAP and Baloch nationalists have agreed upon the name of Changez Khan Marri as the province’s CM.
The sources added that Zehri was not ready to show flexibility over the issue.
PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif has stopped Sanaullah Zehri and Changez Khan from consultation process over the situation in Lahore, they added.
They said Nawaz would try to persuade Zehri in the larger interest of the province.
