Talks between government teachers association and the caretaker provincial government have yielded positive result as the former have agreed to perform election duties in 10 sensitive districts of Balochistan.
According to media reports, the second round of talks between the two parties took place in civil secretariat Quetta, between CM’s Inspection Team Chairman Munir Ahmed Badeni and Government Teachers Association President Nawaz Jatak.
The talks revolved around security concerns in 10 sensitive districts, including Mastung, Kalat, Khuzdar, Kharan, Panjgur, Turbat, Gwadar and Naushki.
After hectic consultations, the teachers agreed to perform election duties provided Pakistan Army troops at the polling stations.
