Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Central Deputy Secretary General Imran Ismail expressed disappointment over the restart of wave of target killings in the metropolis and bomb blasts in other cities of the country.
He termed the state of affairs as failure of existing government.
In a statement broadcasted by PTI Central Media Cell Karachi, Imran Ismail said, “Probable tactics to delay polls should not be overlooked. Election Commission should censure federal and provincial governments along with the law enforcement agencies for the uproar.
In any case, peace should be kept intact to encourage voters for the historic elections, he said. He added that the interim government seemed to be ineffective against unending terrorism.
Explaining the importance of the matter, he said that delay in elections would not be tolerated at any cost. Moreover, he demanded from the Election Commission and Supreme Court to act firmly against the malfunctioning of interim government and law enforcement agencies.
