Three policemen were injured in an armed clash between two rival groups late on Monday night. Police arrested 10 people involved in the fire exchange over property dispute.
According to details, two rival groups hailing from Nawab Town located at Shaukat Khanum Road, engaged in crossfire when armed men of one group tried to grab a piece of land owned by the other group.
Upon getting the information heavy contingent of police reached the scene and tried to calm down the situation.
However, the miscreants started firing at the police injuring two additional sub-inspectors and a constable. The injured cops were shifted to hospital for treatment.
The police registered a case against the armed men of both groups and nabbed 10 accused involved in firing.
